OSSA is excited to announce the first three scheduled webinars in our Summer Webinar Series! See below for information on each webinar. Future webinars will be released in the coming weeks!

Motivation: Tools to Keep You On Track

Presenter: Elizabeth Migneron, OSSA High Performance Director Date: Tuesday June 23, 2020 Time: 7-8pm Eastern Platform: Zoom Target Audience: OSSA Long Track and Short Track Canada Cup and Canadian Youth Championships Skaters. This includes skaters who have attended a Canada Cup or Canadian Youth Championship, including those who qualified for the 2020 Canadian Youth Short Track Championships in Sherbrooke. Our goal is to prioritize athlete attendance; however, if coaches are interested in attending, please email hpdirector@ontariospeedskating.ca and we will invite you if space allows! Coaching Tools for Training Strength & MAP

OSSA Chats with Long Track National Team Member, Isabelle Weidemann

Isabelle is a member of the Gloucester Concordes Speed Skating Club. She is the current Canadian Record Holder in the 5000m. She was the World Cup Gold Medalist in Minsk, Belarus (World Cup 1) and Heerenveen, Netherlands (World Cup Final) and 2018 Olympian in PyeongChang, Korea! Interviewer: Pj Kwong. Pj is a CBC Sports writer and commentator who has been engaged at countless national and international events, including the Olympic Games.
