Ontario Speed Skating Time Trials - Oakville
This event is for OSSA skaters who have a reasonable prospect at achieving the SSC Time Standards, as outlined in SSC High Performance Bulletin 194, this fall. Skaters who attend this event must be willing to attend Short Track Canada Cup 1 in Calgary, if qualified. OSSA Time Standards are in place.
The OSSA Time Standards are as follows:
Female: 55.00 sec in the 500m; 45.00 sec in the 400m
Male: 51.00 sec in the 500m; 43.00 sec in the 400m
The List of Qualified Skaters and Registration Form is now available for the Time Trials in Oakville on Sunday October 17, 2021. Registration and payment to Ontario Speed Skating are due Sunday October 10, 2021 at 11:59pm. The Time Trials fee is $35.00 + HST ($39.55).
Payment can be made via e-Transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org using the password OSSA2021. Please include the skater's name in the subject line. Once payment is complete, the skater is registered.

Please note that the Town of Oakville has a proof of vaccine requirement for everyone aged 12 years and up. This means that in order to access the arena for this event, everyone (skaters, spectators, officials, volunteers) must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Closer to the event, information about the Time Trials will be sent directly to the skaters' families using the email address provided on the Registration Form.
