A note about Directors And Officers Liability Insurance

Directors and Officers Liability Insurance is liability insurance payable to the directors and officers of a company, or to the organization(s) itself, to cover damages or defense costs in the event they suffer such losses as a result of a lawsuit for alleged wrongful acts while acting in their capacity as directors and officers for the organization. Some examples: mismanagement, financial losses, wrongful dismissal, employee discrimination. These wrongful acts are not covered under the general liability insurance.
Any club wishing to receive information about this coverage for their Directors and Officers from OSSA’s broker must fill out an application form and submit it to Sharon VanVolkenburgalong with financial statements and a list of Directors.
