Athlete Support Program Funding Announcement
The following athletes are eligible to receive funding for the 2025–2026 season in accordance
with the criteria outlined in Speed Skating Ontario’s Athlete Support Program.

Athletes who wish to appeal this decision may do so within seven (7) days of the publication of this announcement. Appeals will be considered in accordance with Speed Skating Ontario’s Appeals Policy. The policy can be found on SSO’s website.
Over the summer, Speed Skating Ontario will undertake a review of the Athlete Support Program to ensure it continues to align with the needs of athletes and the organization’s strategic priorities. The updated program, along with funding allocations for the 2026–2027 season, is expected to be released in early Fall 2026.
