The 2021 Ontario Coaches Conference is going virtual! The Coaches Association of Ontario has partnered with Canadian Sport Institute Ontario to offer this FREE event, which will take place March 24-31, 2021. The Conference features over 15 sessions from leading experts in sport! Coaches can earn PD points for EACH session attended!

OSSA's World Cup Skaters had another successful weekend at World Cup Speed Skating 2 this weekend in the Heerenveen bubble. Jordan Belchos and the Canadian Men's Team Pursuit skated to Silver and secured 3rd overall in the Team Pursuit World Cup Standings.


Isabelle Weidemann, Ivanie Blondin and their teammate Valerie Maltais won Gold and set a Track Record in the Ladies Team Pursuit to defend their Team Pursuit World Cup overall title! Ivanie also won Silver in the Ladies Mass Start event. The full results can be found here.

The whole team gained valuable race experience heading into World Championships starting on February 10th! You can watch the action on the ISU Youtube Channel. Congratulations and good luck from all of us at Ontario Speed Skating!

OSSA is accepting nominations for the following Board positions:

President, Treasurer and a Director at Large.

Specifically the Board of Directors is looking for the following skills and characteristics: accounting, legal, fundraising and marketing.


Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors must complete the Board of Directors Expression of Interest form and return the completed form to the OSSA at 100 St. Charles Street East, Maryhill ON N0B 2B0, or scan and e-mail it to the attention of the Nominating Committee at ossa@ontariospedskating.ca by Wednesday February 10, 2021. Please consider joining the OSSA Board of Directors.
