The Ontario Provincial Long Track Championships are scheduled to take place on January 29-30, 2022 in Ottawa at the Brewer Park Oval. This outdoor meet is weather permitting and dependent upon COVID regulations and restrictions.
A modified racing format has been created to meet all current regulations. Only Olympic Style racing will take place. The Technical Bulletin can be found on the Technical Bulletins page of the OSSA website.
Skaters with an OSSA competitive membership who are aged 9 years old and above as of July 1, 2021 are eligible for the Ontario Provincial Long Track Championships. Out-of-Province skaters aged 9 years old and above are eligible to participate if space allows and if all COVID regulations can be followed. Out-of-Province skaters are not eligible for Provincial medals. All affected persons, as specified in the Ontario Speed Skating Vaccination Policy, are required to be Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 for this event. Entry deadline: Monday January 24, 2022 11:59pm.
