Considering Joining the SSO Board of Directors

Speed Skating Ontario is accepting nominations for the SSO Board of Directors. Specifically, we're looking for the following skills and characteristics: finance, human resources, sponsorship and fundraising and marketing. We are also looking for one (1) Athlete Representative.

To determine if you are eligible for election as a Director, please review sections 4.4 Eligibility and 4.5 Skills and Characteristics of SSO’s By-Laws. The Athlete Representative is required to meet the eligibility requirements set out in section 4.4 of the Bylaws.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors must complete the Board of Directors Expression of Interest form and submit a copy of their resume to the attention of the Nominating Committee at executivedirector@ontariospeedskating.ca by Friday January 10, 2025.
