Thank you to the Canadian Red Cross Society, together with the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund, who supported Ontario Speed Skating as a non-profit that provides direct services to those who are vulnerable to the health, social and economic impacts of COVID-19. With this generous funding, Ontario Speed Skating was able to offer weekly Virtual Dryland sessions and 3-layer cloth masks to all skating and coaching members of the Association. Weekly Virtual Dryland was offered throughout the summer of 2020 to keep our members active and engaged throughout the lockdown, and OSSA-branded masks were delivered to each club by early 2021 to support return to sport activity.

Thank you to the Canadian Red Cross for funding our initiatives to return to safe and meaningful participation in speed skating during COVID-19.
